Category Distribution
A sunburst chart visually shows how your time is distributed across categories:
- Outer ring — Individual apps (e.g., VS Code, Chrome, Slack)
- Inner ring — Categories they belong to (e.g., Work, Communication, Entertainment)
- Tap a category to drill down and see the time breakdown of apps within it
- Different colors represent different categories for easy identification
Trend Comparison
In Week / Month / Year views, CatchTime automatically calculates trend data:
- Trend Chart — Shows how total usage time changes day by day (or week by week)
- Comparison Data — Compare with the same type of previous period (this week vs. last week, this month vs. last month)
- Change Percentage — Shows the increase or decrease in each category's time
Device Filter
If you use CatchTime on multiple devices, you can filter data by device:
- All Devices — View merged data from all devices
- Single Device — View data from a specific computer or phone only
- The device filter is at the top of the page and can be switched anytime
This is especially useful when you want to distinguish between "work hours at the office" and "personal time at home."
